Turns out my driver's license photocopy was of poor quality and Elections Canada got right back to me, practically pleading that I re-send a copy of my license. I did so and a few days later I received priority mail with my ballot envelope. Pretty darn efficient. The efficiency was short-lived as I let it sit a couple of days and by the time I got around to voting, it was too late to send it in. Plus points for Canada taking the democratic process seriously, minus points for my procrastination. It doesn't much matter, the Marxist-Leninists didn't have a candidate in my riding anyway. Well worth the wait, or is it weight? BTW, the missus and I did show up to the polls the other day... and we did not cast a nod towards Steve-Oh. Interesting that The Greeners did so poorly, especially after a surprisingly strong debate showing. Dion droppings? Not surprising there... Mr. Marble Mouth himself is to blame for the Lib's losing so much ground. Me thinks that the Layton-Chow duo is past it's expiry date... time to realize throwing around grandiose ideas with no thoughts on how to pay for things is so last century. Here's to 1.5 more years of complaining before we, as taxpayers, can open our wallets again for another useless election to decide that we are still stupid. Oh Cana Duh.
